I’ve been reading The Day the Crayons Quit with my kiddos. If you haven’t read it yet, you should. It’s hilarious.
It got me thinking. If the Gnomies were a box of crayons, where would each of us fall on the color spectrum? So, I asked them.
Dear Gnomies: You’re a proud member of the crayon box. Which color would you be and why?
Brown. Chocolate and poop, that’s my life.
As a proud member of the crayon box, I’d be ROYAL PURPLE WITH RUBY RED, because I love princesses and sparkly things, and I firmly believe that no matter where you go or who you’re with you should always:
This one time, I think I was about 7 years old, I left a BRAND NEW box of 64 Crayola Crayons in the backseat of my family’s station wagon…in the middle of summer. It was worse than you could possibly imagine. 😀
The TIM Lord: Well, I’d be Police Box Blue if there was one, but I’ve got to go with good ol’ red-orange, because it’s flashy, dazzling, all-purpose, and everyone’s friend.
Bionic Banshee: Green. It’s the color of magical forests and zombie flesh. Green encompasses the beauty of nature, and it encompasses all that is moldy and gangrene infested. I like things that are multipurpose like that.
What about you? Which color would you be?
