Happy New Year, QFT-ers! I apologize that our blog and social media dropped off during the holidays—we were all busy being creative and spending time with family. This year will be an awesome year at QFT, so don’t forget to check out the blog each Tuesday when the crew shares their infinite wisdom and Thursdays when we do a creative prompt.
We also interact on Facebook and Twitter, so follow us there, too. We’d love to hear from you at any point at any of these places. And most importantly, don’t forget to send in your speculative short stories, poems, and artwork by January 15th to be considered for our first issue of 2016. It’s going to be amazing, and we can’t wait to share it!
And without further ado, the most exciting New Year’s announcement:
We have a new Gnomie! The Teenage Witch comes to us with a background in creative writing, and she’ll be a brilliant addition to our reading and blogging team. She’ll also be our Public Relations sorceress, as we look to get the word out and expand into new fan bases. In case you missed it, you can check out her first QFT post from December.
The Teenage Witch (+10 points if you can guess her real name!) is a lover of sweet things and words, destroyer of scrabble opponents and worlds. She writes non-witchy stories for young adults and spends her days painting people pretty. You can find her on Twitter HERE.
So take a minute to tell her hi, and don’t forget to get those submissions ready! We’re so grateful for you—our readers and contributors—and we’re looking forward to a fantastic year.
